From the Hofburg Back to the Vineyard
Three days where the international wine world comes together in Vienna. More than 500 Austrian wineries, trade visitors from over 50 countries, sommeliers and Masters of Wine – VieVinum 2026 at the Hofburg is one of the most important wine fairs in Europe. And right in the middle of it all: our Blaufränkisch.
What makes these days so special are the encounters. People who travel from all over the world to understand, evaluate and discover Austrian wines. Every single time, this gives me the confirmation that what we do matters.
From the Tasting Table Back to the Vineyard
Just a few hours after the fair, I am standing at Goldberg. Old vines, blue sky, silence. And 23 international guests in exactly the place where these wines are born.
We opened a vertical tasting of our Blaufränkisch Alte Reben. Five vintages, one single vineyard site. Vines planted by my grandparents in their wedding year of 1947. These wines carry history within them – and that is exactly what you feel in the glass.
The Goldberg needs no stage. It is the stage.
