Summer brings one of the finest wine highlights in Burgenland: the Red Wine Festival in Deutschkreutz. I am really looking forward to welcoming you again this year at our winery.
Look forward to our current vintages, special wine moments and everything that makes good wine so special: spending time together, enjoying life, laughing and experiencing unforgettable moments with a glass of Heinrich wine.

Red Wine Festival in Blaufränkischland
From Thursday, July 9 to Sunday, July 12, 2026, we celebrate. It all starts on Thursday with the official opening, and we bring it to a relaxed close on Sunday evening. The heart of the festival, though, are the two open cellar days, Friday and Saturday, each from 11am to 6pm.
For many years we have invited you to discover Blaufränkisch in all its facets and to experience the fascination of this unique grape variety together with us.
This year again a varied program awaits you: exciting cellar tours, an exclusive rare wine tasting, regional delicacies, a raffle, and a No- and Low-Alcohol Bar featuring our Verjus varieties and our Blanc de Noir, among others.
Festival ticket: EUR 60 per person Valid for both open cellar days (Fri, July 10 and Sat, July 11). Buy once, enjoy on one or both days.
Included in the ticket:
- Free shuttle bus to the winemakers in the neighboring villages
- Tasting of all wines at 26 top wineries of the region
- Shopping voucher worth EUR 15
- An elegant Riedel Blaufränkisch glass to take home
- Free sightseeing train in Deutschkreutz
Good to know: 100% of the proceeds from the festival tickets go to the Deutschkreutz Winegrowers’ Association and help fund and promote the Red Wine Festival.

A special highlight awaits you this year: Silvia Bachhalm from Bachhalm Pralinen is our guest. Together we are presenting, for the first time, our specially created Blaufränkisch Cuvée Praline. Two worlds that harmonize perfectly: the fine fruitiness and spice of Blaufränkisch meets handcrafted chocolate artistry. An indulgent experience not to be missed.

Top Ratings in the Falstaff Wine Guide
The Falstaff WEINGUIDE is out, and we are delighted to once again be listed as a 4-star winery.
What makes us especially proud is that all the wines we submitted were rated really well. For us, that is confirmation of what we do every day in the vineyard and in the cellar: a lot of manual work, patience and consistency, without compromising on quality.
We are especially delighted that our Elegy 2021, the Bordeaux-style cuvée made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, was rated 96 points. And our personal favorite, the Blaufränkisch Alte Reben 2021 from our oldest vines, achieved 95 points. Both are among the highest-rated wines in the current edition.

The rated wines are barrel samples of the upcoming vintages, which are currently still ageing. They are expected to go on sale at the end of 2026 and can already be reserved on request.
Wine & Soul Recap
A big thank you to everyone who joined us at Wine & Soul. It was a beautiful, atmospheric day full of music, wine and emotion, and our team kept celebrating late into the evening.
Lounge of the Year: Vienna Lounge
A special moment was also the third consecutive award for Vienna Lounge as European Lounge of the Year 2026. Warm congratulations to the whole team, including Elisabeth Schmidt and Barbara Woratschek of Vienna Lounge, and Christian Hölbl and Niki Baumgartner of DoN Catering. With passion and attention to detail, they create a special experience every day for travelers from all over the world.
We were honored to accompany this evening with our wines, a great joy and a confirmation of our collaboration. Our Verjus Sprizz was, once again, the alcohol-free summer star of the evening.
At the Rauch Siblings’ Event
Another highlight was our participation at the Geschwister Rauch festival. We had the pleasure of presenting our Blaufränkisch Ried Goldberg Reserve as part of a special culinary moment. An exceptional lamb from Chianinahof, raised by Cheyenne Ochsenknecht and Nino Sifkovits, was served, prepared by Daniel Edelsbrunner of Kupferdachl.
